I have been practising pilates for over 20 years, and more recently Barre, and both methods have given me an enhanced understanding and awareness of my body, my movement patterns, and how breathing properly can help reduce stress and tension. They have helped me minimise back pain, improve my posture and physique and keep injury largely at bay. They have helped repair my body from two Caesarean sections building my strength from within and rebalancing my muscles.
I trained with Body Control Pilates and studied intensively to the high standards they insist upon and am proud to hold their matwork and reformer certification at level 3 in the National Qualifications Framework.
